Caution, Gov't property!!

Are Pronghorn allowed here?? Do they hear ET??

On our trip to the Gila National Forest last fall, we had to drive by the VLA. Honest..only way to get there!

Anyone that has seen the movie Contact, probably recognizes this site...from a few other places, also.

As you are driving along Highway 60 approx. 50 miles west of Socorro suddenly on the horizon you see them..as you get closer...you can almost feel the power of them...turn towards them and they don't look like the soliders they did from the highway...they are not in a straight line...they are ot all pointed in the same direction...they are fascinating!!

So, here are a few pics so that you too can see the VLA!
